Marijuana can be cultivated with medical motive. Some of its varieties are harmful. You can get stoned with both indica and sativa the two main categories of strains in marijuana.  It can be used for headache prevention and to increase appetite. Grow lights of the HID or the high intensity discharge are needed for transferring electricity into light efficiently. MH or Metal Halide and HPS or the High Pressure Sodium is the other types of grow lights needed for marijuana growth.

Medical marijuana growers can also use CFL or florescent lights of different types for enhancing growth of the marijuana plant.  A new breed of lights called LED has become popular providing the best results. Clones of the marijuana plant are also considered easy methods of growing high quality plants. You will need to put in that extra effort to get marijuana plants of good quality.
